In partnership with The Oceanfront Villa, we embarked on a journey to revolutionize their online presence and booking experience, ultimately driving revenue growth and enhancing guest satisfaction.
Like many short-term rental owners, The Oceanfront Villa had no backup plan outside of Airbnb. This left them vulnerable to:

After evaluating multiple booking platforms, we chose Lodgify for its powerful integrations with Airbnb, VRBO, and others. We selected the Professional Plan after running a cost-benefit analysis and identifying the break-even point—ensuring maximum return on investment.

We helped them build a brand beyond Airbnb—a destination with its own story, visuals, and guest journey. Their property was no longer “just another listing.” It became The Oceanfront Villa.
Central to our strategy was the selection of Lodgify as the booking and calendar management software. We analyzed the benefits of different pricing plans, ultimately opting for the professional package. From a design perspective, our focus was on crafting a website that showcased the property’s allure through an array of high-quality images and engaging videos. We wanted to highlight how beautiful the property was.
A few months later, disaster struck:
🚫 The City of Nanaimo rolled out short-term rental restrictions, forcing them to hide their Airbnb listing to stay compliant.
❌ A single guest review caused them to lose their Superhost status, wiping out visibility and trust on Airbnb.
💸 Worst of all, they missed a deadline to submit their business ID to Airbnb—and it led to over $20,000 in bookings being cancelled.
But thanks to the direct booking system we had already built, they didn’t lose everything.
